I'm Back...

I am no longer a cripple! Yay! I started playing soccer again in April. Now the season is over, and I have been watching the Fifa World Cup like CRAZY! WOOT WOOT! Seriously, though, I am NOT kidding! I have liteally been watching two games every day! I am loving all the soccer that has been going on. Can't wait until the United States v. Slovenia match... Go USA!!! I can't believe that the US tied 1-1 to England, but I sure am glad! Some other big news... THE DAGERATHS ARE COMING TO VISIT!!!! :D They will arrive at about 5:00 P.M. tomorrow! I am soooo excited!!!!!! :D (That was for any slow people out there who didn't take note of how happy I am... ;D ) At the rate I have been blogging, hopefully I will have blogged again by next September... I'll try to blog more frequently, though... The emphasis was on "try"...

Crippled!

I'm sooo sad! I am officially a cripple! :( I now have crutches and a big, bulky, ugly, unweildy immobilizer. It starts about five inches from my ankle and ends at the very top of my thigh. I have a large bandage around my knee and it will be removed tomorrow. I can't take a bath for three weeks, because my incisions could become infected. I was going to the restroom and I slipped and fell into the bathtub. Katie was right behind me though and quickly helped me out of the tub. Movie night tonight though, which will be more fun than falling into a bathtub! We invited a couple homeschool families over to watch Night at the Museum 2, after doing a fun worksheet that consisted of a list of names of histoical figures that showed up in the movie. We were writing a couple sentences about each charachter after doing some research on them. We found that Ahkmanrah andKahmanrah are both fictional charachters. Trying to help as much as I can (while using crutches) before we get our company, so I have to go.

Gifts... Guitars... And all that Jazz

Guess what we got for Christmas this year? We got an... ELECTRIC GUITAR!!!
I think it is one of the best Christmas presents EVER!!! I could not believe my eyes! Thank you to our maternal Grandparents!!! This morning, we awoke to find an electric drum set from Santa. It was really funny because my mom was all like " Watch out, Jonas Brothers, here come the Hagen Sisters!" and we were agreeing sarcastically " Uh huh." Anyways, it is really awesome because my dad has had an acoustic guitar, so Katie and I, who seem to be the ones most interested in the guitars (Madison seems to like the electric drum set the best) are learning to play "Au Clair De La Lune" as a duet! Our electric guitar is black and white, and will probably stay in my room, because mine is the most spacious (It also matches my bedspread). So happy!!!

Merry Christmas!

I can't believe that Christmas Day is already coming to an end! It's utterly crazy how fast this holiday has gone! We are so blessed and had many gifts underneath our dead and dried-out Christmas tree (which we forgot needed water and was abused). I am waiting for all of my pics to load onto the computer, while strumming one of my favorite Christmas presents and eating M&M's. Yummy!

Bad News... And Good News

Hey! I haven't been blogging for so long that no one probably even reads it anymore. Sorry about that! Boy, is it hard to get time to blog when there are so many other things to do!!! School is OUT, though (which just happens to be the biggest obstacle between me and my blog)!!! Maybe I'll blog more over Christmas vacation. I'm so sad. I am having surgery on my knee January 6th. YIKES!!! I don't get to play soccer next spring :( . On the bright side, I'll probably blog a ton more than usual (which would be not at all)!

I'm Back... If I Don't Forget!!!

Sorry I've been sooo caught up this summer. We've been all over the place and I always forget to blog when I have freetime and I remember to blog when I don't have time! Now I just hope I'll remember to blog even though soccer season has come and school has started! First tournament of the year Fri.-Sun. (21-23), and boy am I excited!

We all had a great Mother's Day!! Even though Mom had to watch four soccer games, I think she still had fun. As you can see, she got lots of flowers. The flowers in the top picture were from my grandparents. The roses are from my dad and us girls. I hope you had a great Mother's Day! We sure did!
